To add new executive positions to your constitution, an amendment to your constitution needs to be made. Your club may hold an election for new executive positions at the GM or AGM where the constitution is amended, providing:

  • The constitutional amendments and election have been included in your club’s meeting notice
  • The constitutional amendments are approved by a two-thirds majority vote of Ordinary Members at the GM or AGM, prior to the election taking place
  • The election is conducted in accordance with USU guidelines These positions may be filled, but the election will not be confirmed until the constitutional amendments are resolved by the USU Board. Once the amendments are accepted, those elected into the positions will be officially recognized by the C&S Program as executives of your society.
