Can I still become a VTeam Leader if I haven’t done 50 hours yet?

Absolutely! While 50+ hours is the usual benchmark, you can still be considered for a VTeam Leader role if:

- You’ve received a recommendation from a USU staff member

or

– You demonstrate strong leadership qualities, clear communication skills, and reliability during your volunteer shifts.

If you haven’t volunteered much with USU yet but believe you’d make a great VTeam Leader, we’d love to hear from you. Tell us about any relevant work experience, leadership roles, or volunteering you've done outside of USU that shows you’re ready to step up. We’ll review your submission and get in touch if we think it’s a good fit.
